The main reason for the edition and publication of this CD has to do with the fact that this recording is a very rare opportunity to be able to listen to the pianist and composer Jorge Peixinho again, twenty-seven years after his death.
The general public is unaware of this facet of the composer. Peixinho frequently gave solo piano recitals, in which he covered the entire history of piano music, with special attention to 20th century music, interpreting the most representative works of the piano repertoire.
