Nota de Programa: Vento Sul é uma obra inspirada na atmosfera e no caráter rítmico das regiões austrais da América do Sul, onde o frio, o vento e a vastidão da paisagem convivem com uma energia intensa e inquieta. Influenciada em parte pelo pulso das tradições musicais do sul do Brasil, a peça percorre momentos de tensão contida e grande impulso rítmico, evocando tanto a vitalidade quanto a aspereza da vida nas regiões mais frias do continente.

Program Note: Vento Sul is a work inspired by the atmosphere and rhythmic character of the southern regions of South America, where the cold, the wind, and the vast landscapes coexist with an intense and restless energy. Influenced in part by the pulse of southern Brazilian musical traditions, the piece moves between moments of restrained tension and strong rhythmic drive, evoking both the vitality and the harshness of life in the far south of the continent.
